The Global Shapers Community is an initiative of the World Economic Forum and provides youth with a global platform to shape the future. We are the Bridgetown Shapers.

The Global Shapers Community is a network of city-based Hubs developed and led by young leaders between 20 and 30 years old who want to develop their leadership potential towards serving society. Hubs undertake local projects to improve their communities.

The Global Shapers Bridgetown Hub was established in 2012 is committed to contributing to Barbados and the Caribbean region through entrepreneurship and community development.

A tree-planting project executed in partnership with the United Nations Association, Wirred Barbados and One Tree One Bajan as a climate resilient initiative.

A “Yoga & Dance” wellness event in order to raise funds for The CMI Preparatory School, the proceeds of which went towards the purchasing of school supplies.
